Tea Tasting Events
The BG Tea Bar regularly hosts tea tasting events. You are welcome to come and sip the best organic tea of Nepal and learn about the world of tea.
Tea, with its long history and globe spanning appreciation is a very broad and deep topic and we hope to introduce you to as many of these aspects as possible. We cover the different methods of production for our teas – such as what makes a green tea different from a black. (It’s all the same plant, if you weren’t sure).
We then discuss brewing great tea for yourself at home, which is not rocket since, but a few principles should be adhered to. We also cover some of the history, ecology and growing of tea.
